We are delighted to announce that the Fuji EBC and Phénix Zoom are now available to rent at Capsule.

Originally released in 1971, these lenses share an unusually consistent character across the set: sharp centers with gentle falloff, subtle glow from spherical aberration, bold but controlled flares, and beautifully textured bokeh.

To complete the lineup, a custom 70mm f/2 was created using original Fujinon glass. Thanks to its generous image circle, this set is also a strong choice for medium-format camera systems.

A vintage full-frame zoom revived from the legendary Angénieux/Tokina DNA and flawlessly rehoused by Ancient Optics and Iron Glass. A lens many believed impossible to bring back, reborn like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

Parfocal, compact (110 mm front) and lightweight (~3.5 lbs), it delivers sharp images with minimal CA, character-rich texture and bold flares, yet easy to control.

With a perfect focal range for full-frame workflows and a look that modern zooms simply can’t match, this is an ideal companion for high-end cinema cameras.
