Born from a three-year collaboration between Old Fast Glass and Ancient Optics, this Full-Frame+ 1.5x-squeeze set draws inspiration from the legendary anamorphic lenses of the ’70s and ’80s (Todd AO, Cineovision, Technovision, Nippon Scope) yet brings modern precision and performance.
With vintage spherical "taking" lenses at its core, paired with bespoke anamorphic optical assemblies, the STATERA delivers flattering close-ups, minimal field curvature, and full-frame coverage without compromise.
This set features classic single-layer coatings, 15-blade circular irises, and matching gear positions across focus and iris for smooth, consistent operation.
With incredible close focus beyond any traditional anamorphics, the 40mm and 75mm being as close as 1’6”, diopter use is rendered unnecessary in the majority of cases.
