This is a up to speed, modern rendition of the legendary Angeniuex / Tokina 28-70mm f2.6 lens, now successfully rehoused for proper cinema use. Iron Glass achieved the expectedly impossible in rehousing this lens while also making it parfocal, a monumental task. The lens is parfocal, and its character and performance have been maintained.
This lens covers the perfect range for FF sensors, it’s fast, and it has a great look. It’s more flattering, and has more character than modern zooms, and the lens flares are really special. The lens compliments many of our vintage lens sets well, and it’s really compact and lightweight.
