The 85mm was been upgraded from Jupiter-9 - 85mm T2.1 —> HELIOS 40-2 85mm T1.6 - a faster and great match for the bokeh character of the other lenses in the set.

These lenses have incredible swirly bokeh, characteristic of Soviet lenses of the era with bold rainbow flares when wide-open, and more controlled when stopped down. These lenses are a perfect match for a project that is looking for a bold yet sharp images out of camera.

The new MKII rehousing design now has universal position of gears across the set, an easily shimmable PL / EF mount system (with more mount options to come), T-stop markings, Reverse Direction Focus Scale, a 15 aperture blade iris for every lens and with an internal focus design that no longer limits the clip-on Matte Box weight.

These lenses are now a joy to use, with beautiful optics and housings capable of handling even the most demanding filming environments.
