Outside of Panavision, this is one of the only front anamorphic vintage zooms that exists. Compared to the more common rear anamorphic adapters for zooms which loses 1.5-2 stops of light and most of the anamorphic character, front anamorphic keeps the oval bokeh, streak lens flares and the desirable barrel distortion. The 40-120mm range makes this lens incredibly versatile along with its great close focus at 1’5” and the classic 2.0x anamorphic squeeze. The lens has a medium contrast warmer look with incredible flares and beautifully soft bokeh.

We have included many upgrades including a custom carry, upgraded gears for focus, iris, and zoom rings and had a custom 6x6 light-weight matte box built with top and side flags) and can accommodate up to three 6x6 filters (non rotating). This lens in not compatible with 138mm diopters or Rota filters.

NOTE: this is a large, heavy lens, that requires a studio bridge plate (BP-8) and dovetail plate. It will not work with 15mm LWS systems.
