28v Power Solution?
ARRI has made the Alexa 35 with 28v B-mount power in mind with the high power draw the camera requires. We currently stock the full range of Bebob B-mount batteries including the 290Wh, 155Wh, and Hotswap 90Wh options.
At Capsule, we believe that productions can also benefit from having only one type of battery on set. For this reason we currently stock Helix 150 Max 14/28v dual voltage V-mount batteries which can be charged on any regular V-mount charger for easy integration into existing V-mount production workflows.
We include the appropriate B-V mount adapter so that these batteries can be used on the Alexa 35 which requires 28v. They can also function on most other cameras or accessories, like monitors and Teradeks and can automatically switch to 14/28v modes depending on the device being powered.
Alexa 35 battery life is estimated at 1-1.5 hours on a 150w battery and the screen on the battery shows remaining runtime in hours and minutes.
