_ Rental Terms and Conditions


Request

We accept inquiries via phone and email; however, we kindly ask that any information provided over the phone be confirmed again by email. This helps prevent misunderstandings or confusion.

Additionally, if multiple representatives from your side submit rental requests, additions, or changes for the same project, it may lead to confusion regarding the reservation details. Therefore, we kindly request that you designate a single point of contact on your side in advance.

Furthermore, when contacting us, please ensure that details regarding equipment and the order amount have been coordinated in advance between your production and filming departments. In the event that this procedure is not followed and discrepancies arise in the rental agreement, we regret that we cannot accept any responsibility. We appreciate your understanding.

Equipment Delivery and Return

  1. Rental Period

    Equipment is generally available for pickup from 2:00 PM on the day before the rental start date. Returns should be completed by 12:00 PM on the day following the rental period. (For orders including outsourced items, the return time is 11:00 AM.)

    Example: If the first day of the rental period is January 20, equipment can be picked up from 2:00 PM on January 19, and must be returned by 12:00 PM on January 21.

    Our equipment staff are available Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, excluding public holidays. Pickup and return are supported 24 hours by security staff. However, please note that equipment additions or changes cannot be made outside of regular equipment staff hours.

  2. Equipment Check at Pickup

    Upon receiving the equipment, please conduct a thorough check to confirm that there are no defects. If the equipment is deemed to be in proper working order, it will be considered as having been rented in normal condition.

    If any defects are discovered during the check, please report them immediately. In such cases, we will promptly carry out necessary measures, such as adjustments or replacement with the same model or an equivalent item. However, if immediate measures cannot be taken, the rental agreement will be considered invalid.

  3. Equipment Management

    After delivery, responsibility for the care and management of the equipment rests with the renter. In the event of damage, water exposure, theft, or loss, the renter will be liable for full compensation.

  4. Equipment Check at Return

    Upon return, our staff will inspect the equipment. If any loss or damage is discovered, the renter will be charged for the full amount of the damage. Please note that the inspection process may take up to one week.

  5. Late Return Fees

    If equipment is returned after the scheduled return time of 12:00 PM, late fees will apply as follows:

    ・Returned after 12:00 PM on the scheduled return day: Half-day rental fee

    ・Returned after 5:00 PM on the scheduled return day: Full-day rental fee

    ・Returned on the day following the scheduled return or later: An additional full-day rental fee will be charged for each day of delay

Discounts

  1. Half-Day Discount

    For angle check days, set-up days, and moving days, rental fees will be offered at a 50% discount.

    For backup days (unused days), please consult with us in advance.

  2. Consecutive-Day Discount

    A consecutive-day discount applies when the shooting days during the rental period are consecutive.

    However, please note that if the shooting schedule becomes non-consecutive after the rental has started (e.g., due to changes in the schedule), the calculation will restart from the first day at that point.

    Additionally, in the event of extensions or delays, the consecutive-day discount will not apply, and charges will be calculated based on the actual days of use. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

Rental Reservation Cancellation & Changes

  1. Last-Minute Cancellations

    Cancellations made at the last minute will incur a cancellation fee.

    Cancellations are accepted only during our business hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00–19:00 (excluding holidays).

    If you contact us outside business hours, your cancellation will be considered received at the start of the next business day.

    Two days before the shooting:use date: 50% of the rental fee

    One day before the shooting:use date: 100% of the rental fee

    Example: If the first day of the rental period is January 20, equipment pickup will be available from January 19 at 14:00.

    Cancellation on January 18 → 50% fee applies

    Cancellation on January 19 or later → 100% fee applies

    Please note that some cancellations may involve outsourced items or other elements. We kindly ask that you contact us in advance to confirm any applicable cancellation fees.

  2. Changes to Rental Period or Equipment

    If you wish to change the rental period or the equipment included, please contact us during business hours.

    Please note:

    Extensions of the rental period or additional equipment will incur extra charges.

    Changes may not be accepted depending on equipment availability, so we ask for your understanding in advance.

Insurance

Our rental equipment is not covered by insurance. Therefore, we ask that customers obtain their own insurance coverage.

In the event that equipment is not returned in the same condition as when rented, you will be responsible for the full cost of any damage. Please understand this in advance.

For overseas customers or those without insurance, we will provide detailed guidance on a case-by-case basis. We kindly ask that you contact us for further instructions.

During the Rental Period

If any equipment malfunctions or issues occur during the rental period due to our fault, we will provide a replacement or repair free of charge.

However, we cannot assume any other responsibility beyond this.

Furthermore, if the rented equipment cannot be used for its intended purpose due to causes other than equipment malfunction, our liability will be limited to either:

  • Waiving the rental fee for the affected period, or

  • Refunding the rental fee already received.

We will not be responsible for any damages beyond this.

Equipment Shipping

Within Japan, we may be able to arrange equipment shipping via our company vehicle or a third-party courier.

Whether shipping is possible will be determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the delivery location, the volume of equipment, delivery time, and other factors. Please contact us first to discuss your requirements.

Please note that shipping costs are generally borne by the customer.

  • Shipping to On-Location Sites

    If you wish to ship equipment to a remote location, you are required to visit our office prior to shipping for equipment inspection and packing.

    If pre-shipment inspection cannot be conducted, we may decline the rental.

    Additionally, packing materials and shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer.

    If it is not possible to perform inspection and packing at our office, please consult with us in advance.

  • Delays in Equipment Arrival

    We cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery caused by issues during transportation (e.g., bad weather, accidents, or circumstances of the shipping company). Please be aware of this in advance.

Miscellaneous

The specifications, appearance, and prices of rental products are subject to change without prior notice.

The prices listed in the rental price list do not include consumption tax; applicable taxes must be paid separately.

Important Notes

  • Please present a valid photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport) at the time of rental.

  • First-time customers are required to pay the full rental fee before receiving the equipment.

  • Cancellation fees apply starting from the day before the rental.

  • Please thoroughly inspect the equipment before use to check for any malfunctions.

  • In case of damage, loss, or theft, please contact our staff immediately. This applies not only to external damage but also to damage to electronic devices or components.

  • Our rental equipment is not insured, so we recommend obtaining insurance. If the equipment is not returned in the same condition as when rented, the customer will be responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement.

  • Even if a rental contract cannot be completed due to equipment issues found during inspection, we are not responsible for any damages related to the shoot or the production.

  • Equipment handover on the rental start date does not affect the contract amount.

  • For equipment failures during use, we are not liable for damages to the production, but will provide replacement equipment whenever possible.

  • Late returns will incur late fees.

  • If payment deadlines are missed at the time of the contract, new orders may be restricted, and discounts may be revoked.

  • Rental prices are subject to change without prior notice.
